Everybody has a favorite soup from New England clam chowder (my personal favorite) to split pea and ham The Soup Spot serves them all. Each recipe made fresh daily with tender love and care by me (Chef Randy). With over 300 different soups served last year, your favorite is sure to be found at The Soup Spot.
While searching for the all time favorite soup clam chowder is a stand out with three different varieties. Manhattan, New England, and Rhode Island all are delicious and are usually quick and easy soup recipes to make. Manhattan is traditionally a tomato based soup with potatoes vegetables and a little spice. New England is a cream based soup thick and delicious. Rhode Island (the least known of all the clam chowders) is a clear soup with a lot of flavor.
Chowders are typically hearty soups made with onions, celery, and potatoes making them great fall soup recipes but served all year round at The Soup Spot. Over the years I have been searching for the best clam chowder recipe and my favorites have always been of the New England variety.
Another favorite healthy homemade soup is chicken noodle also served at The Soup Spot. Although chicken noodle can be very simple or very elaborate. Made with homemade hand cut noodles or broth from a can each recipe is unique and delicious. Handed down from generation to generation said to be the greatest cure for the common cold chicken noodle soup has been a favorite around the world for many years.
Last but not least lobster bisque (overrated in my onion) light creamy and full of flavor. It has also stood the test of time and a remains a favorite of many. With so many different soups and soup recipes it may be hard for you to choose your personal favorite. My suggestion is to try as many soups as you can and have a couple of favorites just to be on the safe side.
